Fall Family Camp

Whether you're looking for a full weekend getaway or just one night at camp, there's an option for everyone. Whether you choose to bunk in our heating and air-conditioned cabins, with full bathrooms, or brave the elements in our rustic area of camp in tents under the stars--the choice is yours!

Registration

Registration is open now through October 9th! An adult (18+) must remain with all children throughout the weekend. Family Camp is designed as a shared family experience and is not a drop-off program. Children ages 3 and under attend free, but must still be registered.

Christmas Camp

Dates: December 11-13, 2026

Join us for a festive weekend at Camp Kirkwood filled with holiday cheer, camp traditions, and all your favorite camp activities with a Christmas twist! This overnight experience is the perfect chance for campers to return to their favorite place or try overnight camp before summer!

Campers will stay overnight in our cabins, enjoy meals together in the dining hall, and spend the weekend participating in classic Kirkwood activities like archery, ziplining, ropes course challenges, camp games, campfires, crafts, and more, all with a festive holiday twist! Bring a friend to double the fun and share the joy. You might even spot our famous camp elves and if we're lucky, Santa could stop by too!

Youth Recreational Soccer League

Registration is open and we are accepting players. On-time registration ends on February 1st, after this date there is a $20 late processing fee. Spring 2026 practices start the week of February 23rd and first games are on March 14. Division placement for Spring 2026 is based on a child's age on 12/31/25. Our league allows you to play up one division to be with friends or teammates. Just not down or more than two up. Please note: A player must be 4 on 03/01/2026 for the Spring 2026 Season. During registration we collect your preferred fields, practice day and times. We also take teammate/friend & coach request. The YMCA's Spring, Winter and Fall Soccer Leagues are coed, with an optional girls division being offered starting at age 8 in Leland and Wilmington. We support each player at their current level of play and provide opportunities to increase their individual skills. Through participation in practices and games, players learn sportsmanship, how to work as a team and to build quality relationships with fellow players and coaches. We are a 100% Volunteer Coaching League. YMCA athletic staff are available during practices and games to assist our soccer family. Soccer is a game for the players, we let the kids play. We believe one of the best teachers of the game is playing it. Most importantly it should be fun. Join our soccer family, awesome coaches, great families, amazing players and a dedicated YMCA staff.
